I just got through replacing my heater core on my 1993 Mercury Tracer and it isn't a picnic by a long shot. I answered this question once this week already, but instead of trying to give the complete answer here right now what I have done is to copy the complete instruction sheets off of a Ford Factory repair manual that I bought.
