check your fuses i believe they are on both sides of the dash and under the hood. if it is an aftermarket radio check to see if you are getting accessory power

You have a contact switch that closes the circuit once the hood is closed (button switch) look for it, shoot some contact cleaner on it or replace it. it shouldn't be more than $5.
