There are two ignition coils on a 91 Cavalier. There are both mounted on the back of the engine block (firewall side). While they are difficult to reach, they can be removed & replaced in about an hour to hour and a half. A small mirror with an extension handle is helpful for getting your bearings on the two small mounting screws on each coil. Be sure and keep the spark plug wires marked so they can be put back in the right place for the firing order
You don't, you replace it.
IF IT IS A 4 CYL YOU PROBABLY HAVE A BAD CRANK SENSOR OR IGNITION MODULE.

I had a 1991 Chevy Cavalier and I needed to replace the flasher bulb as well. It took awhile but I found it under the drivers side dash. It's a circular shaped aluminum fuse.
You need to replace your turn signal flasher. Check with your Chevy dealer for the location when you buy it.(10.00)
You don't. A 1991 Cavalier did not come with airbags.
