Under the steering wheel column there is a plastic plate with three torx T-15 screws. Remove these then gently pry the top plate from the bottom. Now holding back the top plastic plate you will see a wire harness with four wires which you will want to remove. Next there is a Philips screw on the left located on the switch itself remove this and it should slide straight out. Remove the wire harness with the yellow wires and there you go.
The multifunction switch is the turn signal switch and whatever else is part of it.

remove the positive cable under the hood instead of removing the cable from the battery, then take off the top cover and bottom after that get a 4 prong screwdriver, at the top take off the 2 screws and last unplug the connectors finally pull off the multifunction switch off.

the multifunction switch... ( turn signal) twist it to turn on the lights and once the lights are on pull it towards the door to turn the fog lights on
