How do you replace the map light in a 1994 Chevrolet S10?

I have a 96 s-10. I'm not very mechanical, but here goes. When you say "map light", I assume this is synonymous with "dome light".

Mine is located above the back rear glass, center between where the passengers sit. Mine does not have its clear cover, or lens as some may call it. So normally you'll have to un-screw it, or pop it off somehow.

on the 96, the bulb is a little cylindrical thing, sits in a socket like a fuse. Pop the little bugger out and take it to a good auto parts store. When removing the bulb, be careful not to apply TOO much force, you might break it and get yourself a nasty cut.

Once u have the replacement, do the opposite to replace it.
