Pull wheel pull brake drum pull old brake gear including e brake cable out of tensioner spring

The main problem: Pull all tension out of the e brake cable (Colorado & sonomas are known for sticky ebrakes) before attempting re-assembly use a (Dirt bike exhaust spring tool) to grab the lead positive stop bushing after you have fished it through the spring as far as you can get it through the rest of the ebrake spring. If you dont have one you cab use lashing wire to wrap around the cable before the lead P/S bushing and thread through the spring to pull the cable into place. after its in place remove wire / tool and re assemble.

PS: needle nose pliers and patience help too, as you cuss your way throgh this idiotic manufacturing set up.
