To remove the bumper plug on a Cadillac XLR, first, locate the plug on the rear bumper. Use a flathead screwdriver or a plastic trim tool to gently pry the plug out, being careful not to damage the surrounding area. If the plug is secured with clips, apply slight pressure to release them while pulling the plug out. Once removed, you can replace or store the plug as needed.
