According the the Haynes manual, this is very direct. Just open the trunk and peel the trunk liner carpet away from the backside of the tail light assembly. Locate the correct burned out bulb. Twist the connector counter clockwise to remove it from the assembly. Take out the old bulb, put in the new one, screw the connector back into the tail light assembly, reposition the carpet and you're done!
