I just finished changing them on mine. I have the 3.3L. The 3 in the rear are a bear!
Although everyone told me I had to go through major surgery by removing various
parts, or going underneath to get to them, I did all 6 without removing a thing. My
hands and arms look like a wild alley cat got ahold of me but I took my time and
beat the beast. All it took for me tool wise was a spark plug socket (3/8 drive)
long and short extension, and most important a swivel. The gap on mine were 050.

Lift the hood, disconnect the battery, remove the spark plug cables and covers, and remove the old spark plugs. Next put in the new spark plugs, replace the cables and covers, reconnect the battery and close the hood.
Follow the plug wires from the distributor.
The only ways to improve mileage are to check tire pressures, replace spark plugs, replace air filter, repair any causes for the check engine light to be on.....
A person can replace the rear spark plugs very easily. Disconnect the battery, remove the cables/boots and the old spark plugs. Put in the new spark plugs, reconnect the cables and boots, and reconnect the battery.
There are seals under the valve cover that need replaced to repair oil on the spark plugs.
if you cant get at your spark plugs the best way is to take the side and front motor mounts out and let the motor down they will be easy to get at make sure you have a jack under the motor comes out like butter
Unfortunately, this is not easy. You have to basically take everything off of the top of the engine, all the way down to the fuel rail, to be able to access the rear spark plugs.
The distributor cap is located where the spark plugs cables are connected .They go from the motor to the distributor cap.
You reach over the top, or Jack the van up and reach them from underneath.
