Locate top hose of radiator and follow it towards engine across front of engine and you will find the thermostat housing there on the passenger side of the engine. Loosen hose clamps on both sides of the hose for easy removal of thermostat housing. there are two bolts on the thermostat housing. Remove both bolts and remove housing from the engine. Most times, the thermostat will remain in the housing as you pick it up off the engine. Pull out the thermostat from the housing, fit the seal that comes with the new thermostat on the part of the thermostat that sits on the sill of the engine. Place the thermostat on that sill, it will only sit correctly in one spot because of a nipple on the thermostat. replace the housing and the bolts, making sure that there isnt any gap between the engine housing and the thermostat housing. Tighten bolts, replace hose onto thermostat housing and tighten hose clamps on both ends of the hose. test system for any leaks....
