by removing the upper and lower fan shroud, lower for ease of space from bottom, next the fan clutch assembly is removed from the water pump. after removing the fan the serpentine belt has to be removed as well as the pulley for the belt on the water pump. the only thing left at that point is to remove the coolant from the radiator and disconnect all of the hoses to the water pump and then there are four bolts that attach the water pump to the block. assemble reverse.
