After that remove everything bolted to the water pump which is located right in the center bolted to the fan. Yes, you have to remove the fan as well as the lower radiator hose, then you can remove the bolts holding the water pump in place. After that all you have to do is replace the old pump with the new, using a new gasket. Then reverse everything you did to get to the water pump and put everything back together again.
