take the serpentine belt loose and then take the pulley off the water pump and you will see all the bolts that hold the pump in, take the bolts out and pull the pump out, clean the engine surface real good where the pump mounts and put new gasket on the new water pump using permetex to hold it in place and let it dry for a few minutes and then put new pump on engine and reinstall the bolts and then the pulley and serpentine belt. Refill the cooling system with 50/50 water-antifreeze mix and start vehicle and open the bleeder valve directly in back of the water pump until fluid comes out and your done.
