How do you replace the water pump on a 2000 Dodge Caravan 3.3?

1. there are five screws behind the wheel wells to the water pump.

2. take off the serpetine belt by pulling down on the tensioner.

3. slip belt off from one of the smooth sided pulleys.

4. release lower radiator hose from water pump.

5. unscrew the five screws, gently wiggle the pump lose.

6. clean around housing, apply gasket sealant around area.

7. replace pump, screws, hose, refill radiator. Hint: You can drain the fuild through the lower radiator hose since you have to take it off anyway. Be careful and use a catch pan for the fuild.

discard fluid if old. Keep fuild if changed within there months or less.
