I have the same problem and came here looking for answers, lol. One thing I did do for a temporary fix was to reattach the arm into the worn bushing and then use cable ties around the arms to hold it. That way, my wipers will still work until I can get a permanent repair.

Make sure you leave a bit of slack in the ties so there's room to move and they don't break. And yes, I use several at a time just so there's some for backup when one breaks. They will eventually break, but it may start making noise, a lot of clunking around, as a warning that the ties are about to give.
