There is a little metal box on the front of the raiator not larger than 2" on each side (if you have the replacement thermostat you should know the general size, the box is barely bigger than the thermostat). There are two bolts on the front of the box, remove them, then the casing can be removed. Now you simply need to lift out the old/broken thermostat and place the new one in. Then of course put the casing back on and bolt it back in place! Then you should be good to go. Hope this helps someone. You need to be more specific and include year and motor information.
Generally though, the t-stat is at the top of the motor where the upper radiator hose connects to the block. It is usually only two or three bolts to remove the housing and replace it. Do replace the gasket too.

There was the base model, a.k.a. Sport Coupe, Rally Sport, Berlinetta, and Z/28
The letters rs represent the car as the "Rally Sport" model.
how do u replace a thermostat on a 2000 mitusbishi montero sport
No, the 68 Camaro RS (Rally Sport) had hideaway lights. You could get an SS RS which would have the hideaway lights.
rally sport has the ground effects and suspension pack. while the super sport has both packages plus the power pack which would include a more powerful v8 Rally Sports dont come with v8s they come with V6s - Since when do Rally Sports only come with V6s? Have you never seen a 1987 V8 RS for example? hence the term V8 from 93-97 all rs had v6 and in 98 the body kit was then called sports appearance package and could be ordered on any camaro other than the ss
Either the 2010 or 2011 model of the Chevrolet Camaro SS Rally Sport.
It means super sport. RS stands for rally sport. They're not really different maybe a v6 vs a v8, but really just different trim levels.
it should say on the top of the intake manifold all Chevrolet v8s are 18436572 sorry, i don't know the v6
