To replace the upper control arm on a 2000 Isuzu Trooper, start by safely lifting the vehicle and removing the front wheel. Then, detach the upper control arm by removing the bolts that connect it to the frame and the ball joint. Once the old control arm is removed, position the new control arm in place and secure it with the bolts. Finally, reattach the wheel, lower the vehicle, and ensure all components are properly tightened before test driving.
The thermostat on a 2000 Isuzu Trooper is located on top of the engine, below the upper radiator hose. It controls the flow of coolant to the radiator and throughout the vehicle.
To replace the thermostat on a 2000 Isuzu Trooper, first ensure the engine is cool, then drain the coolant from the radiator. Next, remove the upper radiator hose and unbolt the thermostat housing to access the thermostat. Replace the old thermostat with a new one, ensuring the gasket is also replaced, then reassemble the housing, reconnect the hose, and refill the cooling system with coolant. Finally, check for leaks and start the engine to ensure it reaches operating temperature.
On a 1997 Isuzu Trooper, the thermostat is located in the engine compartment, typically mounted on the engine block near the water pump. To access it, you usually need to remove the upper radiator hose, which connects to the thermostat housing. Once the hose is removed, you can unbolt the thermostat housing to replace the thermostat itself. Always ensure the engine is cool before attempting this procedure.
Under the water neck, where the upper radiator hose to connected to the intake manifold on top of the engine.
To replace the upper ball joint on a 1994 Isuzu pickup, start by safely lifting the vehicle and removing the front wheel. Disconnect the brake line and remove any components obstructing access to the upper control arm, such as the shock absorber or sway bar link. Use a ball joint separator tool to detach the ball joint from the control arm, then remove the retaining bolts and replace the old ball joint with a new one. Reassemble the components in reverse order, ensuring everything is securely tightened.
I found it on 91 V6 under air cleaner on front of the intake manifold. look around the upper radiator hose
On a 1995 Isuzu Trooper, the thermostat housing cover connects to the engine block and houses the thermostat itself. It is part of the cooling system, regulating the flow of coolant between the engine and the radiator. Additionally, it connects to the upper radiator hose, allowing coolant to circulate and maintain optimal engine temperature.
You have to replace the whole control arm on front upper ball joints in that particular vehicle.
Part Of Upper Control Arm
I have 2000 expedition and thought i could change then. After taking my wheel off i notice they could not be change. You need to replace the upper control arm.
The belt itself is rubber and wouldn't have a mark. The mark is usually at the top of the engine and one on the upper belt gear that when they are facing one another means your on the money.
