This is the most difficult hinge to replace on that vehicle. The original hinge is welded in place. The replacement hinge bolts in. In order to gain access to the back side of the hinge that is welded to the cab the entire dash assembly needs to be removed. Many times the original hinge can be rebuilt in place with pin and bushing kits and a little welding and drilling of the holes if they are damaged/oblonged. You will need a special tool to r&r the door hinge spring. This tool is available from your local auto parts store for less than $20.

It is between the upper and lower intake manifold. The gasket is an o-ring type.
Should be in housing at the end of upper radiator hose
Open the hood, locate upper radiator hose, follow the upper radiator hose from the radiator to the "gooseneck" located on the engine, the thermostat is located under the "gooseneck". The "gooseneck" has to be removed to replace thermostat.

The oil sending unit on a 2001 Chevy Blazer is just above the oil filter. It is actually located on the diagonal to the oil filter to the upper left.

Most thermostats are in-line with the upper radiator hose. Check the housing where the upper radiator hose connects to the block.
