I did mine in my driveway using a Haynes Manual for my '03 GTP. It's easy to do but you'll need ratchet style spring compressors available at any aftermarket parts shop and a basic mechanics tool setup (1/2 inch rachets and extensions). Just remember to replace the strut mounts when you replace the struts and don't forget new strut boots (unless you're purchasing a complete strut w/new springs assembly).
The job seems daunting but it's really easy, just pick up the manual and you'll get through it with no problems! While you're under there, check out your rear swaybar, rotors and pads.
A nice tool to have is an electric or compressor run impact driver (gun), it'll save you lots of knuckle skin and agrivation when working on those old strut mount bolts!
