Yes, there is virtually no difference in the dimensions and installation hardware of body parts between 1995-1999 Chevy Monte Carlos.
I sold at a Chevy dealership for a few years, so I can answer with regard to later-vintage Monte Carlos. If I remember right, the rear-seat fold-down option was standard on LTZ and SS Monte Carlos in 2006 and 2007 (LTZ was only available in 2006). It was not available on the more common LS models. The 2000 to 2005 Monte Carlos did not offer this feature. As for earlier models, I can't speak to those. -- Erik Smith
The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) on a 2001 Chevy Monte Carlo is typically located under the dashboard, near the driver's side, mounted on the firewall. To access it, you'll need to remove the trim panel below the steering column and possibly some additional panels. It's important to disconnect the battery before handling the PCM to avoid any electrical issues.
In a 2000 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, the Body Control Module (BCM) is typically located underneath the dashboard on the driver's side, near the steering column. You may need to remove some trim panels or access covers to reach it. The BCM is responsible for controlling various electrical functions in the vehicle, such as lighting and climate control. Always consult the vehicle's service manual for specific instructions and safety precautions when working on electrical components.
To change the ignition control module on a 1995 Monte Carlo Z34, first disconnect the battery to ensure safety. Then, locate the ignition control module, which is typically mounted on or near the ignition coil. Remove any wiring harness connectors and unscrew the module from its mount. Install the new module by reversing the removal process, ensuring all connections are secure before reconnecting the battery.
You need to be clear as to what you are asking. There ire numerous parts to an ignition. Are you referring to the switch or module? jd
