General Motors cars do not have a reset switch.
You may have to change the sensor, it's a $9.00 part at autozone.
You have to have a computer programmer module, from O'Reily's or Autozone to reset it. Some will let you do it and some say that they are not authorized to do it. Good luck...

how do I set reset ignition security on a 1999 z34 monte carlo
RESET THE ALARM
Well, honey, the fuel reset switch on a Chevrolet Monte Carlo is actually called the fuel pump shut-off switch. It's typically located in the trunk on the driver's side behind the carpeting. So, if your car is acting up like a diva on a bad day, check there first before you start panicking.
The only thing you will have to reset is the clock and the radio presets.
To reset the tire pressure light on a 2003 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, first ensure that all tires are properly inflated to the recommended pressure. Next, turn the ignition to the "On" position without starting the engine. Press the gas pedal three times within five seconds, then turn the ignition off. Start the engine again, and the tire pressure light should be reset. If the light remains on, check for any underlying tire pressure issues or consult a mechanic.
