If you are talking about the emergency fuel shut-off switch (aka inertia switch). just push in the button on top of the switch.

According to the 2001 Ford Ranger Owner Guide : The fuel pump shut off switch ( inertia switch ) is located in the front passenger foot well , by the kick panel * the kick panel is the interior trim panel , in front of the front door , beside the passengers right foot and the reset button is on top of the switch ( if the button has popped UP then no power is going to the ELECTRIC fuel pump
