I am going to assume that your Grand Cherokee has the popular option of the Vehicle Information Center (VIC) which shows door ajar, miles to service, light bulbs malfunctioning etc. The Service Reminder is reset by following the following steps:
1 Turn ignition switch (key) on
2 Quickly press and release the SELECT button on the VIC
3 Press the SET button for at least two seconds or until you hear a "beep" and the number of miles til your next service should be reset.
