It is more question than the answer. I have ABS light on all time and turn off light on also all time (talking about ther ABS brake system on Chevy impala 2001 ls 3.8.
I drive ok and brakes are ok. But light stays on makes me nervious all time. Someone said cut them to the hell! But I want to cut them off by right way: to understand why light on and how to stop the problem.
Pads are new? everything ok and there isn't any wrong in brakes working. Others say something here is dirty I need to clean for contacts. Other also say a unit ABS computer ar center.
No idea what reason !
Tell me please someone in order i can drive my car without being nerviuos on this reason all time thinking about that. Evern can't take a baby to the car she will say your brakes don't work we can't have the love on the hill tyou car can move from the hill itself to the river... Ha-ha-ha...
To reset the VSC TRAC light on a 2002 Lexus ES300, first, turn off the ignition. Then, disconnect the battery by removing the negative terminal for about 10-15 minutes. Reconnect the battery, start the vehicle, and the light should be reset. If the light persists, it may indicate an underlying issue that requires diagnostic evaluation.
I am still waiting for the answer u cant reset the abs light u have to take it to the shop, if your abs light is on there is something wrong with your trac system
There is no reset for the light. The light is on because you have a problem with the charging system. Once the problem is corrected the light will go out. Normally the light comes on when the alternator stops functioning.
The easiest way to reset the VSC trac on a 04 Rav4 is to unplug the battery. Once you plug it back in, the VSC will reset.
Put car in Overdrive or Drive 3 position with key on then back to Park.Trac off light should go off after system check next restart If the Trac lo light is on by itset check the Emergency brake first.
Lost my phone lock code. Is there a master reset #?
calibration undone calibrate center points of yaw rate and g sensors cleared codes notes Or try to unplug your battery, let it sit for a min, then plug it back on and see if the light's still on
my trac light came on right before the car sputtered and died on side of highway. towed car home, replaced fuel pump and off i went
Need to correct the problem and get a scanner to cancel the check engine light... Also, remove the negative battery terminal for a few minutes and the ECU will cancel the codes; but they will return if the problem has not been corrected.
I think it has to do with a loose/defective radiator cap. Also, I think only the dealership can turn that light off ... unless someone out there knows how to reset it. My radiator cap had a bad gasket. The engine overheated and the cap blew. In two days (when I finally make it back to civilization) I will know more. It is very unlikely to be a loose/defective radiator cap. VSC / TRAC issues are most likely to be related to a brake sensor on one or more of the wheels. On my 2003 Sequoia, I can cause this condition at will, simply by braking so hard that I trigger the anti-lock brakes. Because I have a bad wheel sensor on one of the wheels, that will cause the TRAC to trip off, and turns on the VSC Trac Light and the Check Engine light. I can disconnect the negative battery cable for a couple of minutes, and it will go away, never to return until the next time I brake extra hard and the anti-locks go on again. I know I could have the wheel sensor replaced, but I just never seem to get the time. Or money.
Off
after fixing the whatever abs problems or traction control problems you had the light should go off automatically. if it does not you have not fixed the problem.
