To remove the steering wheel on a Saturn SL1, first disconnect the negative battery cable to avoid any airbag deployment. Then, remove the steering column covers by unscrewing the screws. Next, use a steering wheel puller to remove the wheel after taking out the center nut that holds it in place. Finally, carefully detach any wiring connected to the airbag or horn before fully removing the steering wheel.

All of the Saturn's have been front wheel drive, EXCEPT for the few SUV's that have been all wheel drive. The SL2, SC2 and SW2 are all dual cam and the SL1, SC1 and SW1 were all single cam.
Its under the intake, turn the steering wheel all the way to the left and lift the car on the pass side, then you can reach it where the axle comes out, you may have to pull out the plastic splash shield depending on your arm and hand size.
