if timing chain is good then their really isn't a way to set time
your truck uses coil packs crank sensor and i think maybe even camshaft sensor.
if you are having driveability issues then maybe check fuel pressure
ive also seen ignition module display same symptoms as off time.
also a cracked crank sensor or cam sensor could be cause.
but if im right you could buy computer progam to set advance curves but all timing is adjusted by onboard computer.
if your timing chain jumped a tooth youd know it.
so doubt that has anything to do with it.
