Set no. one piston top dead center, check that the distributor is pointing at one on the cap, there is a brown wire on the fire wall that must be unplugged while setting timing, start engine ,use a timing light (on the white emissions sticker on the radiator will say how many degrees) turn distributor to desired setting and tighten down dist. clamp turn off ing. then plug in brown wire. firing order is 18436572
