The 2007 model does have daytime running lights,But they may have to be programmed in by a Mitsubishi workshop. Not all countries have mandatory daytime running lights ,The system is part of the ETACS (electronic timing and control system ) and is only accessable via a dedicated Mitsubishi data tester.

Daytime Running lamps are replaced following the same directions as replacing regular headlamps. First lift the prop the hood open on a 2007 VW Beetle and locate the headlights. Find the light bulbs and remove them from the housing. Replace the lamps.
