turn your ignition switch to on while somebody puts their ear up against the tank If they don't hear an electic run run for a few seconds and stop you are not getting power to the pump Make sure all the bells and whistles done before you turn the ignition key to the on position so whoever is listening to the tank doesn't mistake those buzzing sounds with the pump buzzing sound,. Another way is to remove the air cleaner and look down the throat of the throttle body to see if gas is reaching the engine you should see and hear the hissing sound of gas entering.
