hook your trailer up and go... if you have a tow package you should see it on your gear selector if you do have it press the button in and a little picture should show up on your gage cluster of a little trailer
remove the drive shaft
automatic
no GM changed the cases
place transfer case inneutral and go for it
As long as The Engine is The same that the trasmission was on before then yes it will work.
Place the transmission in Park and the transfer case in neutral.
Yes it is. It will go right in there with no problems. Will not have to change anything.
Yes, you can. You just need the proper equipment to do so.
if it is automatic then no because in 1996 Chevy swiched to the (e) electronic trans and would need a different computer system to work.
Press the tow/haul button at the end of the shifter. 2000 Chevy Silverado LT Ext Cab 4 dr 5.3L 4x4 Z71
That would be the 4L60E transmission.
you need to refer to your manual on this one, if you were to tow a 4x4 Chevy tracker i know that you have to put the transfer case in neutral as well as the transmission, if you do not have 4x4 just your transmission should be in neutral....you should really refer to the manual im pulling this from some sort of memory.....
