The distributor might be damaged on your 1999 Buick Regal if it stalls occasionally and will not start. This problem is common in older vehicles and once you sit for a few minutes, the vehicle will generally restart.Ê
it sound like your ignition switch need to be changed ,,, i just done that ,had to changed it
The Fuses 5 23, and 30 are under the hood fuse box in a 1993 Buick regal limited with a 3800 while the ignition fuse is at left side of the fuse box
A ton of Buick and GM owners replace the ignition switch so that their cars won't cut out and KILL THEM.
Had a recent situation with similar symptoms. Turned out to be a faulty Mass Air Flow Sensor. P/N of replacement was 19179715. Hope this helps.
The amount of coolant to fill a Regal radiator depends on the engine size. A smaller motor might only use 1.75 gallons of coolant, while a larger motor could use 3 gallons.
Applying the parking break works for me.
I take it you have daytime running lights , if so by engaging the emergency / parking brake the daytime running lights should go off
If you are parked with the motor running, engage the parking/emergency brake. Turn the ignition off and restart the engine. The daytime running lights should not be on.
