The on switch for a 1998 Buick Riviera is the ignition switch, located on the steering column. To start the vehicle, insert the key into the ignition, turn it to the "On" position, and then to "Start" to engage the engine. Additionally, ensure that the gear shift is in the "Park" or "Neutral" position for the car to start.
The starter on a 1992 Buick Riviera is located in the undercarriage on the driver's side of the motor. It cannot be accessed from the top because there is no room for a wrench to turn the bolts.
Your hazard/turn/cruise module in the steering column has failed. The third light still works because the third brake light switch is mechanical tied to the pedal.
rmove the radio and it is directly behind it.
If your 1998 Buick Riviera won't turn over, first check the battery to ensure it's fully charged and the connections are clean and tight. If the battery is fine, inspect the starter and ignition system, including the fuses and ignition switch. Additionally, a faulty neutral safety switch can prevent the car from starting, so try shifting the transmission to neutral. If these steps don’t resolve the issue, it may be time to consult a mechanic for further diagnosis.
lay down just under the turn signal. you will find a panel under the car undo the two screws remove panel door the rest is a cake walk
start the car. the alarm should turn off
In a 1995 Buick Riviera, the flasher (turn signal relay) is typically located under the dashboard on the driver's side. You may need to remove a panel or look near the fuse box to find it. It's often a small, cylindrical component that may be plugged into the fuse panel or mounted nearby. If you're having trouble locating it, consulting the owner's manual can provide specific details for your vehicle.
I have a 1986 Buick Riviera that the same thing happened to and it turned out to be a fuse blown on the GCC CRT unit. I went ahead and bought a used CRT from a junkyard for about .00.
The fuse is blown.
