If your taurus has the trunk lock right beside the driver seat like mine does, then its pretty simple.
remove the plastic face plate
cut a bit out of the upper left corner, where it meets the door frame
reach down into the little hole you made with a stick/thin knife/ anything of that sort
pull the metal ring towards the door, and viola, you can pull the trunk release now.
**if 'the metal ring' doesnt make sense or you dont know what im talking about, stick a key (doesnt matter what key) into the lock and jiggle it some, the ring lock will move a little, youll see what i mean.
