How does one remove the door panel on a 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 regular cab no power windows or door locks?

Use a small flat head screw driver and insert between door panel and door on the bottom of door in the middle, pry outward. There are small plastic inserts that just push into holes in the metal door. These are along both sides and bottom and there may be one towards the top in the middle. When you get the bottom and both sides popped out then pull upward. If the plastic inserts come out of the door panel and stay in the holes in the door, use needle nose pliars to pull out and they will slide back into groves in the back of door panel for reinstallation. I don't know about the manual window crank handle mine is electric and I don't have to remove the door handle or lock slide in order to remove the door panel. Good luck... there is a "C" clip between the door panel and window crank... it holds the crank onto the spindel, you can use a small flathead screw driver to pop it out and the crank will pull off the spindel. (you can put the clip back on using a screw driver as well but there is a tool specifically made for that which makes taking it off and putting it back on a lot easier... but is not required)
