It's an open front differential if it is stock. So is the rear differential
the air pump is on the back of the front bumper, the rest in your front axil inbtween you ring gear and your carrier
there is not a differntial it is a front wheel drive vehicle.
yes
How do you change the front rotors on a 2004 Chevy tracker
What is the fluid capacity front differential 2004
This question makes absolutely no sense. Do you mean the front-rear end? If its in the front it's not a rear. Is it four-wheel drive? Do you mean the front differential?
Complexity depends on whether it is 4wd or 2wd. I just replaced oil pan on my daughter's 4wd. In order to do so I had to take out the front drive axle and remove the front differential. I also had to disconnect the power steering pump in order to gain enough clearance. If you are a good do it yourselfer, it's just a time consuming project. Otherwise, you may want to take it to a Chevy dealer and let them do it. 2wd should be easy as there is no differential or drive axle to deal with. Hope this helps.
yes
It is screewed into the front Differential, towards passenger side but in the middle of the housing.
The only seals on the driveshaft itself would be on the slip yoke. You're probably thinking of the pinion seal, which is at the front of the differential, behind the input yoke to the differential.
i don't know if its the same for most trackers but my 1999 Chevy tacker which is a 2.0L takes 80w-90 GL-5 gear oil... and it takes 4.6 quarts too...hard to believe it!
