It depends on the gas you put
It is either a bad fuel injector or a problem with a valve in that cylinder
I have a 1994 ford ranger with a 2.3 4 cylinder and a k&n cold air intake. You can really tell the difference in the take-off and it has a little more power l, so it is a pretty good idea to add one
Not if it is working alright. however if you suspect its the worst for wear it would be a good idea,
The Ford Ranger, Chevrolet S10, and Dodge Dakota are good trucks. For a 16 year old a 4 cylinder engine and automatic transmission would probably be best.
Will it even crank? If it won't, you have an ignition switch or lock cylinder going bad. If it does crank, just not running, then check to make sure fuel pressure is good and that the ignition coil is good. When exactly will it not start?
It's Great...and that is a very broad question
Probably about 4. Best way to do this is to put in four, run the engine, and check it again. this is a good way to check...but my 94 ranger always needs at least 5 quarts. I have had my ranger for about 6 years now. The Capacity is 5.0 quarts with filter change.
Good chance that your battery is low.
Bad Starter....
Take it to a good mechanic who knows what he is doing.
The manual transmission on a Ford Ranger should be changed on a regular basis. Fill the transmission with any good quality regular or synthetic transmission fluid.
which engine ? the 2.3 L SOHC 4 cylinder or the 2.9 L OHV - V6 , and what is your question ? - I'll try to help 1. i have an 1989 ranger with the 2.9 in it and it seems pretty decent it has the power to push the truck and the 4x4 i think overall it has been pretty good
