long time
How long spark plugs last depends on the brand of spark plug and the condition of the car. In a well maintained car, some spark plugs will last from 3 to 7 years.
iridium plugs are made to last 100,000 miles
Because spark plugs on many newer cars are so hard to get at you want them to last as long as possible. You can replace them with standard plugs but if they only last half as long, the labor involved makes that a poor value. I would stick to the platinum plugs. I hope this helps you. Mark Having researched Iridium spark plugs and installed sets in two Gm vehicles I highly recomend using them AC 41-101 is probably the correct one for your vehicle
They should last 100,000 miles.
Use AC / Delco Platinum or Iridium long life spark plugs & use a "anti-seize" compound on the threads on installation. Best of luck!
look on the very top of the motor and you will see a long rail them are the spark injectors for your spark plugs. pull them injectors out and you will see your spark plugs.
NO. As long as you install the correct size plug and gap it properly.
generally, a tune-up is required,,, replace spark plugs, wires, cap & rotor,,, and use platinum plugs.. It really does make a difference in these engines, as well as the platinums will last ALOT longer and deliver better performance and mileage,, hence pay for themselves in the long run,
The platinum plugs have long life. Suggested 60,000 or when check engine light may come on. The two on the sides are accessable. The others you need to remove the manifold. DH
Spark Plugs do not affect your alternator. As long as your engine is running then it should be charging unless your alternator is bad
most spark plugs should be checked and gapped annually. if your spark plugs are used up you should replace them
you have to through the wheel wells to ge to spark plugs. use a long extenison and a spark scocket with a sweival built on to it. good lock
