Only 1,500 units of the 1983 Mercury Capri Black Magic T-Top were produced. This limited edition model featured distinctive black and gold styling and was part of Mercury's effort to enhance the sporty image of the Capri. The Black Magic package included various performance and aesthetic upgrades, making it a sought-after collector's item today.

In 1983, Mercury produced approximately 3,333 units of the Capri RS 5.0. This version of the Capri was equipped with a 5.0-liter V8 engine and was known for its performance-oriented features. The Capri was a sibling to the Ford Mustang, sharing many mechanical components, but it had distinct styling and branding under the Mercury nameplate.
