My Eclipse has 126,000 miles and runs great. I've seen some naturally aspirated ones go well above 200k, but Mitsubishi is not know for their longevity. It all depends on how you define "fair shape," because how it was treated has more of an effect than the car itself.I have goten 250,000 miles out of a BMW that had been serviced regularly, but it all depents on how good of shape the transmission and motor is in and if it is serviced regularly or not and if it has a turbo your chances decrease dramatically to try to get 200,000 miles out of it.

Its all about taking care of your car. The harder you treat it, the quicker it will fail on you.
