I AM ATTEMPTING TO COMPARE NUMBER OF DEATHS IN CAR ACCIDENTS WITH THE NUMBER OF DEATHS IN CAR ACCIDENTS BEFORE SEAT BELTS.

i PERSONALLY OBJECT TO FASTENING TINY CHILDREN IN A FOUR-POINT RESTRAINT SYSTEM FROM THE TIME THEY LEAVE THE HOSPITAL UNTIL THEY "GRADUATE" TO AN ADULT SEAT BELT. tHE RESTRICTION OF MOVEMENT HAS TO HAVE STRONG IMPLICATIONS UPON THE MINDS OF CHILDREN SUGGESTING ABSOLUTE CONTROL OF THE BODY AND LATER AFFECTING THE MIND.

The fatality rate in 1963 was 23.1 per 100,000 people. In 2009, the rate is 11.0 per 100,000, a significant difference.

Child safety seats save thousands of children each year from death and most importantly, they save tens of thousands from serious injuries. There is no validity to the theory that seat belts effect the mind of children in any negative way.
