if the tranny is completely empty of fluid about 12-13 quarts
About 12 quarts, but you won't get that much out without pulling the tranny and dumping the converter, For a normal oil change in the tranny you will use about 6 or 7 quarts.
It is important to replace old transmission fluid with the right amount of new transmission fluid. The 2005 Ford Crown Victoria has a transmission fluid capacity of 5 quarts.
6 or 7 qts of tranny fluid, when replacing transmission fluid
a little over 7 quarts. I just finished doing a tranny service on one.
usually about 6 quarts
Ten quarts would be for the entire system , tranny ,convertor , lines , cooler etc If the tranny is flushed , which changes all the fluid you would use the 10 quarts . I believe I was charged for 14 quarts , when my tranny was flushed because it just pumps in new fluid and forces the old fluid out until the color was a nice bright red in the sight glass on the machine. Dropping the pan and then refilling the pan takes considerably less transmission fluid. (Helpfull)
7.5 q for thr 4T45E tranny
