My 1983 bronco xlt weighs 4200 pounds.

The weight of Ford Bronco's varies considerably. My 81 Bronco has no features of any kind, no cruise, no AC, no carpet, no headliner, and is completely bare bones. I haven't removed anything, it was just a low end model. It weighs right around 4000 lbs. However, some Broncos came with all the luxeries and features, plus V8 engines (mine's a straight 6), which add a lot of weight, sometimes up to 5000 - 5500 lbs.
Honestly, the best way to find out is to grab a bunch of recylables, go to a local recycle yard, and have them weigh you when you come in and when you go out. It's a free way to get your vehicle weight tested.
