my guess, based on my E250 van licenced at about 5100 lbs on registration, is the registration weight noted includes weight at spec for vehicle, so 5100 less 3/4 ton, would be about 3600 pounds. Just a layman's estimate, have no dog in this fight, except to say I was asked to pay a very high toll, twice on same trip in NJ, and showed the registration to the bridge attendant, to show i should pay the passenger car rate. They accepted this logic, or registered weight notation, less 3/4 ton, for empty weight, as qualifying for passenger car rate. hope this helps. Mac in DC
