I just refilled my a/c, and I used the regular sized can, Can't remember what oz. but I had a explorer before and one can did the job, but on the expedition, it needed either a larger can or, 1 and 1/2 of the regular sized cans, and it's a pain to get to the low pressure valve, but it is what it is I guess.

The amount of refrigerant (Freon) a Ford Expedition holds can vary depending on the model year and engine type. Generally, most Ford Expeditions require between 2 to 3.5 pounds of R-134a refrigerant for the air conditioning system. It’s always best to consult the owner's manual or a service guide for the specific model year for accurate specifications.
