according to cycle worlds buyers guide for 08 the Yamaha YZF- R1 has a claimed horsepower of 180 Exact quote "oh yeah, horsepower?" "A claimed 180 at the crank."

wow um first off the rsx was only made between the years 02 to 06 so there is no 08 model lol
depending on the year.. 03-08 models pull 126 (123 for awd models) and the new (09-10) matrices pull 132, all at 6000 rpms
