cold air intake
To increase the horsepower of a diesel engine you need to put either a turbo charger or a supercharger on it. Cold air intake will also help.
From 5 to 10 horsepower.
I've looked around and pretty much everyone says about 12hp. Hope this helps :)
Add a free flow exhaust and a cold air intake free flow air filter. This will give you slightly more h.p. To get some real horsepower you can install a turbo charger or supercharger but they are expensive.
about 2 wheel horsepower
10 horsepower.
typically at least 1MPG up to 3-4MPG a few and up to 30 HP in some instances
what year
In order to do that; putting on any kind of cold air intake or super charger requires a diffrent kind of pistons to have a lower compression in order to work with the supercarger or any other kind of enhancement.
The cold air intake may add 5-10 hp to the 335 it was built with.
Ram air intake aka, short ram intakes are good for low end horsepower and torque Cold air intakes have more horsepower gaines then short ram and more top end power. If your looking for more torque then horsepower, meaning more acceleration but dont care about topping out your car, then short ram intake is what you want. If you already have enough torque and just want more horsepower and go fast as possible, then cold air intake is what you want.
