A stock 302 engine with a two barrel Carb has 210 horsepower and 300 lb ft of torque, with a four barrel, 230 horsepower and 310 lb ft of torque.
2002 mustang GT rated at 260 horsepower and 302 ft.-lbs. of torque.
The stock engine, a 5.0 or in reality a 4.9 liter had approx 225 horsepower.

There is no such thing as a 1972 Boss 302 mustang. They were made in 1969 and 1970. They had 290 horsepower but it was (according to some at Ford) under-rated.
