Remove fuel lines, remove two bolts that hold fuel pump, if V/8 you may have to remove inspection plate to insert the push rod back up into the block. The plate has two bolts that hold it on. Remove with 7/16 wrench or socket. use some type of grease to hold the rod in the block. if the rod drops the fuel pump will not go back on. Tighten to bolts for the pump to 27 ft lbs and the plate bolts to 22 inch pounds. Reinstall fuel lines, tighten to 22 ft lbs.
