Remove inner door panel,pull glass up and out after getting it separated from the regulator.Drill out the rivets holding the whole mechanism for lifting the window(regulator and motor)Unplug the wiring and pull it all out through the large hole in the inner panel at the bottom of the door.Now you have it on a bench and can test the motor as well as the regulator.Attach 2 wires to the plug from the motor and switch them back and forth between the positive and negative terminals on a battery to make it go up or down.
