MASS AIR FLOW SENSORS NOT RECAMENDED TO CLEAN SOME CAN BE AJUSTED
You must remove the MAF from the air intake hose. Then, where the air flows through, inside you will see a small wire, this is a resister. Spray CRC MAF cleaner inside, cleaning the grid as well as the resister . Let it dry for about 15 to 30 minutes, it doesn't take that long but better safe than sorry, then reinstall the MAF sensor. Remember to plug it back in to the system. Be sure and put a dielectric in the plug before plugging it back in.
The best cleaner to use is is CRC Mass airflow cleaner, because it is less abrasive. You must be careful what you put on it, you can destroy the resister, and most MAF cost 200.00 and up, so be careful there.
